Brian Greer, Director 911 Dispatch

Role and Responsibilities:

With 13 years of service in law enforcement, Director of Communications Brian Greer is responsible for:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, licensing, employee certifications, quality control and meeting of State and Federal Standards related to the 911 Call Center.

​911 Audio Records Administrator – Handling all Subpoenas and Public Records requests related to call audio, radio traffic audio and 911 call sheets.

CJLeads Co-Administrator – CJLEADS is a resource used by law enforcement officers for investigative purposes during active duty. This system is linked to the North Carolina Division of Criminal Investigations Database.

NCAWARE Co-Administrator – NCAWARE is a resource used by law enforcement officers for investigative purposes during active duty. This system is linked to North Carolina Administrative Order of Court or “AOC”.

Building Security Access Administrator – Maintain building security for the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office building access and permissions.

Terminal Agency Coordinator for Ashe County Sheriff’s Office – Represents the Sheriff’s Office with the North Carolina SBI to oversee access to the FBI National Crime Information Center over the Division of Criminal Investigations Network or “DCI”.
