Role and Responsibilities:

Chief Deputy Danny Houck is the second-in-command at the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office. Chief Deputy Houck’s main role is to help the Sheriff develop and refine his vision for the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office. Chief Houck’s duties include the assignment of responsibilities to department heads to see that vision come to life.

Chief Deputy Houck runs the daily operations of the Sheriff’s Office while also working together with our citizens to assist them in any way we can.
