It is with much delight that I am able to celebrate one of our dispatchers, Keshea Roland for two separate life saving calls!
Within the last few months Keshea has assisted 911 callers by not only quickly and professionally dispatching the appropriate first responders to their emergency, but also by talking them through procedures that saved not one, but two lives here in Ashe County.
Keshea is a perfect example of the kind of well-trained professionals we have here at the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office answering calls in our 911 Dispatch Center.
As part of our recognition of Telecommunicator Roland, we were able to present her with two Life Saver award pins and two certificates noting her accomplishments. Thanks to their generous donations, we were also able to provide Keshea with gift certificates from the Ashe County Chamber of Commerce, West Jefferson Specialty Foods and Boondocks Brewery.
These businesses specifically donated these gift certificates to ensure that exceptional service by members of our staff can be appropriately rewarded and Keshea certainly was a worthy and grateful recipient. A special thank you to Keshea, all of her fellow Telecommunicators and to the Ashe Chamber, Boondocks and West Jefferson Specialty Foods for helping to make Ashe County a safe and thriving place to live and work.
