Background and Responsibilities:
With 14 years of service in law enforcement, Captain Linda Carrow is the Jail Administrator of the Ashe County Detention Center. Capt. Carrow is a graduate of the Detention Officer Certification Course at Wilkes Community College and received her Jail Administration Certification from the US Dept. of Justice – National Institute of Corrections.
Capt. Carrow is responsible for supervising a staff of 28 Detention Officers and for the care of and safe, secure and humane housing of up to 165 inmates.
Capt. Carrow is responsible for monitoring the daily activities of the Detention Center to ensure the facility and all of the Detention Officers under her command adhere to all State and Federal laws and regulations.
