B2SB Vendor Registration

News Deputy 4A Day & Back 2 School Blast B2SB Vendor Registration

Are you interested in setting up a booth at our Back 2 School Blast? With over 50 stations of fun, entertainment and supplies for the youth in Ashe, we provide a grand time for our children to interact with our schools and law enforcement.

TYPES OF BOOTHS THAT ARE NOT ALLOWED

  • In 2022, team members from Ashe County Schools and the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office collaborated to establish a few guidelines for the event. Their goal was to create an enjoyable, family-friendly environment—one that emphasized community togetherness and celebration while remaining free from commercial activity and the tensions often associated with divisive public discourse.
• Booths that are promoting their business. Booths should be educational to the children while also providing school supplies to each child who comes by. The school supplies may include the name of your business, but your booth title and focus within the booth should be on education and school supplies.
• Political Booths – To ensure an inclusive and welcoming environment for all attendees, we kindly ask that booths refrain from promoting or being affiliated with any specific causes, campaigns, or organizations that are rooted in partisan viewpoints. Our goal is to create a positive, stress-free atmosphere where families and children can focus on education, community, and celebration without the influence of divisive messaging.

• All supplies, materials, and giveaways must be appropriate for a school and family-friendly environment. Items containing inappropriate language, offensive imagery, or suggestive or negative messages will not be permitted. We ask all participants to ensure that their materials reflect the positive, respectful spirit of the event and are suitable for children of all ages.
• The sale of items at the event is not permitted unless prior approval has been granted by the organizing committee. This event is designed to be a free and accessible experience for all attendees, with a focus on community support, education, and enjoyment. By limiting sales, we aim to remove any financial pressure from families and ensure that every child can fully participate without the expectation or burden of making purchases.

Ashe County Schools and the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office are again excited to offer a one-day “festival” feel event for our Ashe County families. The event will be held on August 9th, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office parking lot at 140 Government Circle in Jefferson.

The Ashe Blast is an excellent opportunity to expose families to our county’s amazing organizations, businesses, and churches.  We invite community organizations, businesses, and churches to share information about their services, classes, or organizations with families.   To ensure fun for all and a festival feel for the event, all booths are asked to decorate their booth and provide an interactive game, activity, craft, or freebies.  Activities and prizes at the booths add a level of excitement that keeps families engaged.  “Freebies” can include items to help students succeed in the year ahead, such as pencils, pens, crayons, bags, water bottles, tissues, snacks etc.

Setup Information:

You may set up from Friday, August 8, 2025 – 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, and please remember that the parking lot will be unmonitored, so only do this if you have large, heavy items.
